Is there a minimum age requirement to move into Heritage Pointe?
The minimum age requirement to move into all communities at Heritage Pointe is 60 years old.
Are pets allowed?
Heritage Pointe residents are allowed to have either one cat or one dog if the following requirements are met:
- You must be able to care for the pet’s needs independently
- You must have a care plan for your pet when you are away from Heritage Pointe
- The pet must be up to date on shots
- The pet must not have behavioral issues
- The pet must not cause disruption to other residents
- The pet must not weigh more than 25 lbs.
Can I bring my own furniture?
Your Heritage Pointe apartment is your home, and you can furnish it however you like.
Will someone clean my apartment or make my bed?
Bed making and other general housekeeping tasks are included in the monthly rent for our assisted living, Sage Living, and Memory Care communities.
How do I get to my doctor appointments?
Heritage Pointe provides transportation to and from local medical appointments for all residents. We also provide weekly transportation to the post office, library, cleaners, grocery store, pharmacy, mall, banks, museums, and more.
Do you make accommodations for residents with food allergies or specific dietary needs?
Whether you have specific nutritional requirements, allergies, or accommodations based on religion, we can create a custom meal plan that meets all your needs. You also have the option to schedule free appointments with our dietitian to discuss your nutritional goals.
Is all food Kosher?
Our Dining Room and Main Kitchens are Kosher, while all other dining areas are non-Kosher. Residents are allowed to keep non-Kosher food in their own apartments.
Can a family member or friend stay at my apartment for the weekend?
Before any non-resident can spend the night in a resident’s apartment, Heritage Pointe must be notified. There is also a five-night limit for guests, excluding end-of-life situations. If a non-resident wishes to stay longer, they have the option to rent one of our guest suites for a nightly rate. What activities does Heritage Pointe offer?

What kind of security does Heritage Pointe offer?
The front desk staff are on-duty and present from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., seven days a week, and all guests are required to sign in. The front doors are also locked at 6 p.m. every night, requiring all evening guests to be admitted by a staff member. We also have secure gardens and walking paths, and 24-hour care for Memory Care residents.
What if I have a medical emergency?
Each resident is provided with a wearable medical alert pendant that, when pushed, will alert our HealthCare department to respond to your emergency. There are also emergency alert pull cords located in each apartment bathroom.
What level of care can I expect from staff daily?
We personalize care for each resident based on their individual level of need. To learn more about care options specific to you, call our care team at 949-868-6915 or schedule a visit to our community and learn more about our services.
Do I need to have renter's insurance?
Renter’s insurance is not a requirement for Heritage Pointe residents. We do recommend having renter’s insurance to give your possessions an extra level of protection against damage or theft.
Does Medicare cover assisted living?
Assisted living is typically not covered under Medicare, however, some care services may be. For a more detailed list of what is covered, be sure to contact your insurance provider.
Does Heritage Pointe require a security deposit?
We do not require a security deposit. We ask for a community fee once the desired apartment is chosen with the first months rent due upon move-in.
Can I pay my rent on a credit card?
Monthly rent can be paid by check or by electric funds transfer (ACH). Credit cards are not accepted.
Do you have a wait list?
